MMU Celebrates Victorious Moments at DICE 3.0

We are proud to announce that our students from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) have brought home several medals from the Digital Innovation Creativepreneur (DICE) 3.0, held at the Persada Johor International Convention Centre from 2 to 4 September 2025.

WEML Production, comprising Muhammad Adham Mustapha, Izzah Harissa Mohd Ghazali, Rajvind Singh a/l Jayabalan, and Nor Athirah Nor Syafawi, emerged as the Main Award and Gold Medal winner in the Short Film category with their outstanding work, “VENDETTA: Crimson Wrath”. Guided by mentors Ts. Ng Lynn-Sze, Ahmad Azlan Ahmad Zafri, Muhammad Firdaus Hashim, and Anuar Hassan, the team also walked away with a cash prize of RM5,000.

Adding to the list of achievements, MEOWTIVE Production clinched the Silver Medal in the Short Animation category for their creative project, “DROWNING”. The team members namely Aiman Zahrah Mohd Nizam, Zuhani Zahir, Ser Jin Hong, and Danielle Tan Ming Yan, were mentored by Ms. Qistina Ruslan, Mr. Iqmal Amin, Ms. Audrey Hon, and Mr. Ram Fauzee.

DICE 3.0 gathered 320 students and lecturers from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Brunei, serving as a dynamic international platform to showcase digital innovation and entrepreneurial talent. The competition was organised by the Ministry of Higher Education and Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), and was officiated by YB Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir, Minister of Higher Education.
