A total of 47 students from the Faculty of Management (FOM) took part in a Mental Health Awareness Talk held at EMR, FOM under the Industry Learning Partners (ILP) initiative, led by Dr. Nguyen Lan, Ms. Fatin Zaida Zaidi, and Dr. Wan Noor Elani Wan Azizi on 28 August 2025.

The session was conducted by clinical psychologists Ms. Shivani Kumar, Ms. Shenita Suresh, and Ms. Samantha Teng from Anyma Psychological Services, and it provided students with practical knowledge on navigating life, managing stress, and understanding mental health challenges. Through the session, students learned about mental health, mental illness, and effective coping strategies.

An interactive Mentimeter game kept participants engaged, giving them the chance to share their own views and experiences. Many students found the session eye-opening, as it equipped them with tools to manage both their studies and personal well-being in healthier ways.

As a follow-up, Anyma Psychological Services is extending its support by offering students access to individual online counselling sessions, ensuring they have a safe space to seek guidance beyond the talk. This initiative shows the faculty’s commitment to looking after students’ well-being, not just their academic success.
