An industrial learning trip to Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN) Cyberjaya was joined by students together with three accompanying lecturers, namely Dr. Sunita Lylia Hamdan, Madam Azleen Shabreena, and Madam Rapiah Md. Zaini, from the Faculty of Management (FOM) on 10 September 2025. The visit was aimed at broadening students’ insights into Malaysia’s taxation system and was hosted by several esteemed LHDN officers, including Mr. Masrun bin Maslim, Director of Tax Education Division (BPC), and his team.

Students participated in a three-hour programme that featured an informative talk on current taxation developments, including the phased implementation of e-invoicing. This was followed by a tour of LHDN’s gallery and an engaging taxation quiz conducted via Kahoot. The visit offered students valuable firsthand exposure to real-world tax practices, encouraged meaningful discussions with industry experts, and successfully fulfilled the industrial learning component of their programme.
