Career Connect organised a series of impactful career events across two campuses, strengthening the bridge between industry and academia while enhancing students’ readiness for the world of work. On 19 August, a total of 15 companies from diverse industries participated in the Employer Connections Day to engage directly with students at the Melaka campus. The event offered valuable insights into industry expectations, internship opportunities, and career pathways. For many participants, it was their first real exposure to professional networking, giving them the chance to meet potential employers while building confidence in their communication and career planning.
Two days later, the Creative Career Day was held at the Cyberjaya campus, providing a vibrant platform for students in creative fields to showcase their portfolios, connect with professionals from media, digital arts, and design industries, and explore possible career paths. Together, these initiatives not only opened doors to professional networks but also offered students first-hand perspectives and advice from industry players. Overall, the programmes were more than just networking sessions as they offered a chance to learn directly from industry professionals, explore career options, and gain the confidence to take their next steps toward employment.
