PurelyB Inspires Students with Real Life Startup Lessons

An exciting and inspirational talk titled “From Local Roots to Global Reach: The PurelyB Growth Story” was delivered by Ms. Raja Jesrina Arshad, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of PurelyB, a homegrown health and wellness brand that champions Malaysia’s rich heritage of rainforest herbs and natural remedies, on 9 June 2025 at the Cyberjaya campus.

The session, coordinated by Ms. Sharifah Ummu Naqiah Syed Shukran and Dr. Azrena Mohd Noor, lecturers from the Faculty of Management (FOM), was a lively and interactive two-hour event filled with engaging discussions and thoughtful questions from the audience. Students were exposed to insightful knowledge on how small companies can scale and thrive in competitive markets. They also received practical tips and business ideas for launching their own startups, along with strategies for sustainable business growth.

Ms. Raja Jesrina shared the compelling journey of PurelyB, highlighting how the company was founded, the challenges it faced as a startup, and its vision of expanding into international markets. Students also enjoyed freebies and special discounts, adding a fun and memorable touch to the session.
