Multimedia University (MMU) has recorded upward progress in the QS World University Rankings 2026, rising from the 1001-1200 band to the 851-900 band. Released on 19 June 2025, the rankings assessed a total of 8,467 institutions from 106 countries, evaluating across six performance lenses, namely, research and discovery, employability and outcomes, global engagement, learning experience, and sustainability.

This encouraging development reflects MMU’s steady advancement across all measured areas, with notable improvements in research visibility, graduate employability and outcomes, as well as in global engagement. The outcome is closely tied to MMU’s focus as a Research-led, Industry-driven University (RIU), where strong commitment to industry-relevant initiatives has enabled deeper connections with the industry and global research institutions, advancing knowledge and nurturing future-ready digital leaders.
