A two-day event, the Youth Entrepreneurship Programme (YEP), brought together future entrepreneurs to explore the world of startups, learning how to brainstorm, refine business ideas, and pitch them with confidence from 24 to 25 April 2025. Hosted by the Entrepreneurship Development Centre, the programme featured a lineup of distinguished speakers, including Daniel Cerventus, curator of TEDxKL, who shared insights on storytelling and idea validation; Aniq Amrez, co-founder of YouthVenture Asia, who discussed youth-driven innovation; and Bikesh Lakhmichand, CEO of 1337 Ventures, who led a session on the Business Model Canvas.
Throughout the event, students showcased their creativity and ambition, engaging with the speakers and each other in lively discussions and workshops. The energy in the room was palpable, as participants embraced the challenges of entrepreneurship, thinking critically and pushing boundaries to come up with fresh ideas. The programme was designed not just to teach but to inspire students to think big and act boldly in the world of business.
The YEP was more than just an event, it was a catalyst for the next generation of entrepreneurs. As the programme wrapped up, students left with a deeper understanding of the startup world and the skills to turn their ideas into reality.
Well done!
