Resume Writing Workshop Enhances Student Employability

An insightful session titled “Resume Writing Workshop: Crafting Your Path to Success” was held in hybrid mode at the FIST Smart Lab and streamed via MS Teams on 19 May 2025. More than 100 students attended the session, which was conducted by Ms. Michal Michael Pushparaj Doss, Employer Relation Executive at PERKESO. Organised by Career Connect and Faculty of Business (FOB), the session aimed to equip students with essential resume writing skills to enhance their employability and competitiveness in the job market.

The speaker delivered a practical and engaging session focused on building impactful resumes. The workshop covered key elements such as effective resume structure, common mistakes to avoid, and strategies for tailoring content to specific job roles. An interactive Q&A segment allowed students to ask questions and receive personalised advice. It is hoped that the session has empowered participants with the knowledge and confidence to present their professional profiles effectively in today’s competitive job landscape.
