A group of students from the Melaka campus embarked on an enriching industry and educational visit to Bursa Malaysia and the Bank Negara Malaysia Museum and Art Gallery on 22 April 2025. The visit was jointly organised by the Beyond Youth Innovation Challenge (BYIC), Career Connect, and the Career Connect Club (C3), with the objective of exposing students to real-world industry practices while enhancing their financial literacy and understanding of the economic landscape.
Throughout the visit, the students actively engaged in the sessions, gaining firsthand insights into Malaysia’s dynamic capital market operations at Bursa Malaysia. They had the opportunity to learn about stock trading processes, regulatory frameworks, and the role of Bursa Malaysia in the nation’s economy.
At the Bank Negara Malaysia Museum and Art Gallery, the students explored Malaysia’s economic history, financial systems, and national heritage through interactive exhibits and curated collections. The experience deepened their appreciation for the evolution of Malaysia’s financial sector and its cultural significance.
Overall, the visit was a meaningful and eye-opening experience that complemented the students’ academic learning while inspiring them to be future-ready professionals in the financial and economic sectors.
