On 10 May 2025, 16 students from the Faculty of Business (FOB) carried out their Public Social Responsibility (PSR) activity at Pertubuhan Pencinta Haiwan Melaka (PPHM) in Jasin, Melaka. As part of their course, the students engaged in cleaning tasks and feeding stray cats and dogs under the care of the centre. The activity served as a platform for students to contribute meaningfully to society while raising awareness on animal welfare.
In addition to their physical efforts, the students took the initiative to pool their own money to purchase pet food, ensuring they did not arrive empty-handed and offering much-needed support to the shelter. Their actions reflect the values of empathy, teamwork, and social responsibility that MMU aims to cultivate through its academic and co-curricular programmes.
