We are proud to announce that Multimedia University (MMU) has been awarded Superbrands status for its outstanding presence and brand positioning. The award was presented by Yang Berhormat (YB) Datuk Darell Leiking, the Minister of International Trade and Industry to Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Ahmad Rafi Mohamed Eshaq, the President of MMU in the Superbrands Malaysian 2019 Awards at The Ritz Carlton, Kuala Lumpur on 24 October 2019.
MMU received the status after a strict selection process by the Malaysian Superbrands Council. The award pays tribute to the strongest and most valuable brands in the Malaysian market. The “Superbrand Status” strengthens a brand’s position, adds prestige and sets the brand apart from its competitors. Only brands which have been highly rated by the ‘Superbrands Council’ and through other research are granted “Superbrands Status” and invited to join the Superbrands programmes.
Expressing his happiness on receiving the award, Prof. Rafi said, the recognition elevates MMU‘s position as a key play-maker in the higher education sector. It also means that MMU graduates, who are the university’s product, would also be better recognised by the industry.
