On 14 July 2026, MMU held an engagement session involving the inaugural cohort of the MMU–France International Pathway Programme, held at Kolej MARA Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, on 14 July 2026. The event began with opening remarks by Puan Rosmaria binti Abdullah, Director of Kolej MARA Seremban.
The session provided an opportunity for the students to meet MMU President, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, before embarking on their academic journey. In his welcoming address, Prof. Mazliham congratulated the students on being selected for the pioneering programme and encouraged them to embrace the opportunity to gain international exposure, broaden their perspectives, and excel both academically and personally. He also expressed confidence that the programme would equip them with the knowledge, skills, and global outlook needed to thrive in the engineering profession.
The MMU–France International Pathway Programme reflects MMU’s commitment to providing students with a globally oriented learning experience through strategic international collaboration.
As part of the programme, students will first undergo a two-month Intensive French Language Programme at Kolej MARA Seremban, followed by a 10-month Foundation programme in France. They will subsequently complete the first two years of their engineering studies in France before returning to MMU to finish the remaining two years of their Bachelor of Engineering programme. Upon graduation, students will receive dual recognition through the French Bachelor Universitaire de Technologie (BUT) qualification and MMU’s Bachelor of Engineering degree, enhancing their global employability and career prospects.
Also in attendance were Mr. Zambri Pawanchik, Vice President of Strategic Marketing, Admission and Recruitment (SMART), Prof. Dr. Ooi Chee Pun, Dean of Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and Engineering, together with other MMU officials, who welcomed the students and their parents to the MMU community.
