MMU Alumni Society Welcomes New Leadership Team at AGM 2026

On 9 May 2026, the MMU Alumni Society successfully held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026 at the Cyberjaya campus, bringing together Permata Dunia from various graduating years through both physical and virtual participation. The annual gathering reflected the strong and enduring bond among MMU alumni while serving as a platform to strengthen engagement and collaboration within the alumni community.

The session was officiated by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud. Also present were Prof. Ir. Dr. Zulfadzli Yusoff, Vice President of Student Experience and Entrepreneurship Development (SEED), and Associate Professor Dr. Ong Jeen Wei, alongside alumni representatives and members of the MMU community.

During the meeting, appreciation was extended to the outgoing committee members for their dedication and contributions towards strengthening alumni relations and supporting various initiatives throughout their tenure. Their commitment has played an important role in fostering a more connected and engaged Permata Dunia network.

The AGM also witnessed the appointment of the new MMU Alumni Society Committee for the 2026 term, led by President Ts. Syahrir Nizam Jalis, together with Vice Presidents Hasna Hashim and Khairil Effendy. The newly appointed Executive Committee members are Kamal Mokri, Siti Jamila Syuhada, Akram Mohd Sharif, Engku Fariez Engku Azahan, Eliasaph Wan, Uwais Al-Qarni Anwar Ridwan, Ameerul Asyraf Md Nasir, and Harith Hazim Zulkifli.

The university, through the Centre for Alumni (CfA), looks forward to working closely with the newly elected committee to further strengthen alumni engagement, foster meaningful connections among Permata Dunia, and create impactful initiatives that will continue to benefit the MMU alumni community both locally and globally.
