On 2 April 2026, more than 200 students joined a virtual Student Exchange Programme Briefing aimed at providing insights into global mobility opportunities. The session covered various programmes, including student exchange, articulation pathways, short-term mobility, internships, and other collaborations with partner institutions worldwide.

Organised by the International Collaboration and Engagement (ICE), the briefing also featured Dr. S. Merlin Gilbert Raj, Assistant Professor from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, India. He shared information on exchange opportunities between MMU and Karunya, encouraging students to consider gaining academic experience in India.

The session also included sharing by two MMU students who had previously participated in an exchange programme in Germany. They spoke about their experiences, including academic life, cultural exposure, and the personal growth they gained during their time abroad.

The briefing concluded with an interactive Q&A session, reflecting strong interest among students in pursuing international opportunities. MMU remains committed to expanding its global partnerships and providing students with greater access to international learning experiences.
