Kanagawa University Visit Opens New Opportunities for MMU Students and Academic Growth

MMU through its International Collaboration and Engagement (ICE) unit, recently hosted a courtesy visit from delegates of Kanagawa University, Japan, at the Cyberjaya and Melaka campuses. The visit aimed to strengthen academic ties and explore potential areas of collaboration between the two institutions.

The distinguished delegates, Prof. Masato Takanokura and Prof. Ohashi, participated in a series of engaging sessions throughout their visit. Their itinerary included campus tours at both Cyberjaya and Melaka, providing insights into MMU’s state-of-the-art facilities, learning environment, and student-centric approach to education.

Discussions were held with representatives from multiple faculties, including the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and Engineering (FAIE), Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET), as well as the Institute for Postgraduate Studies (IPS), to identify potential collaborative initiatives in research, academic programmes, and student exchange.

The visit concluded on a positive note, marking a significant step forward in enhancing international cooperation and fostering meaningful academic exchange between MMU and Kanagawa University. Both institutions expressed optimism about future partnerships that will benefit students, faculty, and the wider academic community.
