MMU through its International Collaboration & Engagement (ICE) office organised a community engagement and farewell programme for full-time exchange students of the October/November 2025 trimester on 5 February 2026.
The programme began with an Environmental Cleaning and Conservation activity at Morib Beach. A group of exchange students participated in the beach clean-up effort, contributing to the preservation of the coastal environment. The activity forms part of the University’s ongoing sustainability and community engagement initiatives. It also provided the exchange students with an opportunity to engage with the local community during their stay at MMU. The students represented various partner universities and countries under MMU’s international exchange programme.
In the evening, a farewell dinner was held at MMU Cyberjaya, attended by approximately 30 exchange students. Souvenirs were presented to the 13 students who took part in the Morib Beach programme in appreciation of their participation. The event was graced by Prof. Ts. Dr. Lau Siong Hoe, Vice President of Market Exploration, Engagement & Touchpoint (MEET), together with representatives from the ICE Office. The programme concluded on a positive note, marking the end of the students’ exchange experience at MMU.
