Students from the Faculty of Business (FOB) have been actively involved in several community and environmental projects this December, showing their commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.

The series of initiatives began on 7 December 2025, when sixteen students from the Diploma in Digital Business (DDB) programme participated in a sustainability project at Taman Seribu Bunga. Guided by project advisor Ms. Siti Zarifah Binti Amir and working alongside park representative Encik Fauzi, the students cleaned and maintained the park to create a welcoming environment for visitors enjoying jogging, family gatherings, and recreational activities.

On 10 December 2025, seventeen DDB students joined hands with the Residence Committee of Taman Kerjasama for a community cleaning project. They worked across the residential area to make the environment cleaner and healthier, while strengthening ties with the local community.

The efforts continued on 14 December 2025, when seventeen students from the Diploma in Accounting (DIA) programme took part in a sustainability project at Beruang Hill. Guided by Ms. Fathiah Hashim and in collaboration with the Jabatan Perhutanan Negeri Melaka (JPNM), the students cleaned the hill to preserve its natural beauty, ensuring a safe and pleasant space for hikers and nature lovers. The project also gave them first-hand experience in conservation practices. These initiatives show MMU students putting sustainability into action, while gaining practical experience and contributing to the community.

Well done!
