Over 150 students participated in the “PROGRAM ADVOKASI KEPENGGUNAAN KPDN-MACFEA 2025” held on 16 December 2025 at the Cyberjaya campus. The programme was organised by the Malaysia Consumer and Family Economy Association (MACFEA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN), Gerakan Pengguna Siswa UiTM Cawangan Selangor (GPS UCS), and Faculty of Management, MMU.
The initiative aimed to enhance students’ understanding of their rights and responsibilities as consumers, covering topics such as Kita Gempur, E-Dagang, Online Scams, and Subsidy Leakages (Ketirisan Subsidi). Participants engaged in a range of interactive activities, including competitions, quizzes, and Kahoot sessions, with prizes awarded to winners, making the learning experience both enjoyable and rewarding.
Throughout the session, students gained practical insights through informative talks and hands-on modules designed to deepen their knowledge of consumer issues and financial literacy. The programme concluded with a prize-giving ceremony to recognise winners of the various activities. This project was led by Dr. Wan Noor Elani Binti Wan Azizi, with support from Dr. Noor Shahaliza Binti Othman, Dr. Izyan Syazana Binti Awaludin, Dr. Tan Chi Hau, and Mr. Chan Man Seong from FOM.
