MMU Welcomes Delegation from Nigerian High Commission

MMU had the honour of receiving Ambassador Danlami Ibrahim, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., along with Mr. Olumuyiwa Dayo Ogundipe, Counsellor (Consular and Education) from the High Commission of the Republic of Nigeria in Malaysia, during a courtesy visit to the Cyberjaya campus on 1 December 2025.

MMU President, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud met with the guests together with Management Committee Members and Dr. Sy. Nurleyana Wafa Sy. Naguib Wafa, Director of International Collaboration and Engagement (ICE).

The visit served as an avenue for the university to broaden its international engagement and to explore avenues for collaboration Nigeria’s higher education sector. The discussion highlighted potential initiatives in academic exchange, research partnerships, and student development programmes that could mutually benefit both institutions. It is hoped that the connection established through this visit will contribute to long-term collaboration and enhanced international engagement for MMU.
