In November 2025, Ts. Dr. Anusuyah Subbarao from the Faculty of Management (FOM) represented the university at the Translational Research SATU Network Meeting, held as part of the Southeast and South Asia and Taiwan Universities (SATU) Presidents’ Forum. The event was hosted by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and served as a platform to strengthen translational research collaborations while exploring opportunities for joint initiatives and partnerships across the region.

The two-day forum brought together more than 30 academic leaders from SATU member universities to discuss pressing societal challenges and ways to address them through collaborative research in areas such as healthcare, technology, sustainability, and innovation. Participants engaged in keynote presentations, strategic discussions, and networking sessions aimed at establishing partnerships that extend beyond individual institutions.

The meeting resulted in concrete outcomes, including identifying priority areas for joint projects, frameworks for continued cooperation, and plans for incubation programs, joint research centers, and collaborative funding opportunities. The collaborations and networks developed during the forum are expected to support impactful research and influence academic programs, benefiting students across the Asia-Pacific region in the years ahead.
