FCM FYP Project Wins Gold Medal and Best Poster Award at WINSTEM 2025

“Layangan Warisan – A Gamified Virtual Reality Experience Preserving Malaysia’s Wau Heritage”, a final-year project by students from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM), won a Gold Medal and the Best Poster Award at the inaugural World Innovation in STEM Competition 2025 (WINSTEM 2025). The event was held at Pusat Sains Negara from 22 to 23 November 2025.

Muhammad Faris Fiqran Muhamad, Muhammad Faiz Khairudin, and Kartika Asnul received medals and certificates in recognition of their achievement. WINSTEM 2025 was officiated by Mr. Ganesan A/L Jeyabalan, President of the Malaysia Innovation, Invention & Creativity Association (MIICA).

The event served as a global platform that brought together students, educators, researchers, and innovators from around the world to showcase transformative projects addressing pressing global challenges.
