MMU Professor Receives Malaysia-China Joint Research Programme 2025 Funding

Let us extend our heartiest congratulations to Prof. Ir. Dr. Koo Voon Chet from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) for securing research funding of RM1.117 million under the Malaysia-China Joint Research Programme 2025 (SRF-RFP Malaysia-China). The ceremony was also attended by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, and Prof. Dr. Mohamad Yusoff Alias, Director of Research Management.

Prof. Ir. Dr. Koo, one of eight recipients, received the offer letter from YB Chang Lih Kang, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), during the Malaysia-China Joint Research Collaboration Project Offer Letter Presentation Ceremony on 14 November 2025. This achievement marks another significant milestone for MMU in fostering impactful research collaborations and advancing innovation through international partnerships.
