MMU Team Clinches 1st Runner-Up and Individual Awards at ACS EDU Tour Season 4

A team of five students from various faculties brought pride to the university by securing first runner-up at the ACS EDU Tour Season 4, held from 7 to 9 November at Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur. Representing the state of Melaka, Voo Heng Ming, Bong Li Zhe, Derrick Lee Xiang Zhe, Jonas Ng Jii Yuan, and Chia Chin Yang walked away with a cash prize of RM20,000. In addition, the team earned several individual awards, including Best Jungle, Best Mid, and Best Support, each valued at RM300. The team was accompanied by Mr. Zulfadili Hamzah from the Student Lifestyle and Experience Department.

Organised by CRIT Esports Malaysia, the event aims to engage university students through a blend of mobile gaming and competitive esports, providing a platform to showcase skill, teamwork, and strategy. Supported by ESPORTS INTEGRATED and the Malaysia Electronic Sports Federation, the ACS EDU Tour contributes to Malaysia’s goal of becoming a leading esports hub in the region.
