To connect classroom learning with real-world practice in business law, two sharing sessions were organised in September 2025. The first session was conducted by Ms. See Xu Ling, Company Secretary from Aico Services. Students learned how to form and register a business in Malaysia, explored suitable business structures for start-ups and SMEs, and picked up essential dos and don’ts every entrepreneur should know. The session also highlighted the important role of a company secretary in ensuring compliance and smooth business operations.
The second session featured Mr. Ong Kit Wee, Managing Partner of Kuek, Ong & Associates, Advocates & Solicitors. He shared why legal knowledge is crucial in business, touching on areas such as contracts and compliance. His talk underscored how business law goes beyond classroom theory—it is a practical tool for survival in Malaysia’s competitive corporate world. Overall, the sessions reminded students that business law is not just about rules, but also about strategy, protection, and long-term success.
