MMU Students’ Documentaries Screen at Wayang Pacak

A total of five documentaries from the Faculty of Cinematic Arts (FCA) — Tok Abah, Nenekku, Phone-bia, Simple But Not Easy, and Nenek — were screened at Wayang Pacak, held at the Taiping Telegraph Museum from 12 to 14 September 2025.

Produced during the pandemic, these films explore the unique relationship between senior citizens and technology, offering stories that are honest, moving, and deeply relatable. The screenings sparked meaningful conversations across generations, reminding audiences of cinema’s power to connect communities and inspire reflection. This event highlights the creativity and resilience of FCA students, whose works continue to resonate with audiences both within and beyond the classroom.
