Assistant Professor Dr. Olivia Tan Swee Leng from the Faculty of Management (FOM) represented Multimedia University (MMU) at the National Governance, Integrity and Anti-Corruption Research Conference, held at the Movenpick Hotel, Sepang, from 18 to 19 September 2025. She presented her research findings on the emerging risks of corruption within the e-sports industry, highlighting key concerns and strategies for mitigation.
Dr. Olivia was among eleven distinguished presenters who shared their studies on corruption risks and proposed recommendations to address them. The study was carried out with the support of her team, comprising the late Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Ahmad Rafi Bin Mohamed Eshaq, AP Dr. Abdullah Sallehudding, Mr. Albert Quek, and Mr. Mahathir Malik.
Her participation not only showcased MMU’s commitment to advancing research in governance and integrity but also underscored the vital role of academia in shaping policies and practices to safeguard emerging industries like e-sports.
