FOM Alumni Pioneers Homecoming 2025 Rekindles Alumni Bonds and Legacy

On 22 September 2025, the Faculty of Management (FOM) organised the Alumni Pioneers Homecoming 2025, commemorating the 25th anniversary of its first graduating cohort. The celebration was graced by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, alongside Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan Booi Chen, Dean of FOM, and other faculty members, who came together to honour the contributions of the faculty’s earliest graduates.

In his address, Prof. Mazliham applauded the pioneers for their achievements that continue to uphold and enrich FOM’s legacy. He highlighted the success of distinguished alumni such as Ms. Schrene Goh (Class of 2001), Chief Commercial Officer of Malaysia Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn. Bhd., and Mr. Megat Sharizal bin Mohamed Yusoff (Class of 2003), filmmaker and Film Director at Funwerk Studio Sdn. Bhd. He also underscored the crucial role of alumni in enhancing the faculty’s teaching, learning, and networking ecosystem, while encouraging them to remain connected and contribute towards shaping a vibrant future for FOM and MMU.

The homecoming served not only to honour the achievements of FOM’s pioneers but also to rekindle meaningful ties between alumni and their alma mater. Looking ahead, this renewed connection is expected to foster greater collaboration, opening new opportunities that will continue to strengthen FOM’s legacy and inspire the next generation.
