On 11 July 2025, Multimedia University (MMU) welcomed a high-level delegation from the United Nations Association of Malaysia (UNAM), led by its President, YBhg. Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed. The visit aimed to explore strategic collaboration opportunities, particularly in the areas of youth development and international academic partnerships.

During the meeting, the UNAM delegation engaged in fruitful discussions with MMU President Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud and members of the university’s leadership team. One of the key highlights of the dialogue was the potential for MMU to establish academic ties with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, facilitated through UNAM’s international network.

The delegation also toured MMU’s Cyberjaya campus, where they were introduced to the university’s state-of-the-art learning and innovation facilities. They expressed admiration for MMU’s commitment to academic excellence, digital innovation, and student development.

This visit marks the beginning of a promising collaboration between MMU and UNAM, with shared goals of empowering Malaysian youth and strengthening global academic engagement. MMU looks forward to further discussions with UNAM to translate these opportunities into impactful initiatives.
