MBA Sharing Session Explores Importance of People Mindset

An online sharing session titled “What Powers Your Business Empire: Scaling Beyond Systems and Strategies Point” was held on 11 June 2025. The session was delivered by Mr. Arthur Sam, Regional Sales Director APAC, Ports & Maritime Division at Cavotec, and was attended by MBA students.

The session aimed to bridge theory and real-world practice by offering firsthand insights into how people-centric strategies can drive sustainable business growth. Mr. Arthur, who also serves as the Industry Learning Partner for the MBA programme, shared his extensive experience and leadership journey — from engineer to executive.

His real-life examples enriched the students’ understanding of how values-driven leadership and organisational culture are not only ethical choices but also strategic advantages. The session encouraged students to rethink organisational behaviour from the inside out, challenging them to define their own purpose and leadership philosophy.
