I3 Entrepreneur Series Boosts Entrepreneurial Spirit at Melaka Campus

On 14 May 2025, an I3 Entrepreneur Series Talk featuring Mr. Iskandar Shafi’i, Director of Growth Charger Malaysia, was held at the Melaka campus. The speaker delivered a dynamic session that blended personal experiences with practical insights, offering a realistic and empowering look into the entrepreneurial world.

Mr. Iskandar began by helping students uncover their own entrepreneurial spark, emphasising that the journey starts not with funding or flashy ideas, but with a strong sense of “why.” From there, he shared a practical startup blueprint, guiding the audience through how to move from concept to execution and highlighting the importance of building a solid foundation through validation, teamwork, and adaptability.

Drawing from his own journey, the speaker also reflected on the challenges and breakthroughs that shaped his path, while stressing the importance of surrounding oneself with a supportive ecosystem of mentors, collaborators, and growth opportunities. He further explained the business side of startups by discussing key topics such as rules, funding stages, and profits, offering a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to grow a startup and attract investors.

At the end of the session, Mr. Iskandar spoke about the realities and opportunities that exist beyond textbooks. He urged students to step out of their comfort zones, embrace learning through experience, and see every challenge as a gateway to innovation and impact.
