Students’ Representative Council Initiation Ceremony 2024/2025 Marks New Leadership

On 25 April 2025, the Student Lifestyle & Experience coordinated the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) Initiation Ceremony for the 2024/2025 term at the Cyberjaya campus. The ceremony marked the official commencement of the new SRC line-up, symbolising the continuation of student leadership and governance at MMU.

The event was graced by the President of MMU, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, who delivered an inspiring address to the newly elected SRC members. In his speech, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham commended the outgoing council for their dedicated service and unwavering commitment to the student body. He emphasised the importance of leadership, responsibility, and integrity, encouraging the new council members to uphold these values while striving to enhance student experience.

As a token of appreciation, gifts were presented to members of the student election committee and the outgoing SRC members in recognition of their hard work and contributions throughout their tenure. Their efforts were instrumental in ensuring a smooth election process and successful representation of the student voice.

The ceremony concluded with an oath-taking session, where the new SRC members pledged their dedication to serving the MMU student community with excellence, transparency, and passion. The event not only celebrated new beginnings but also reinforced MMU’s commitment to nurturing future leaders.
