MMU Beamer Rounds Off Its 2026 School Visits at SMK Tanjung Sepat

The MMU Beamer Singgah Sekolah initiative rounded off its 2026 school visits at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Tanjung Sepat, Selangor on 22 September 2026. The visit featured Prof. Dr. Tan Booi Chen, Dean of the Faculty of Management (FOM) and an alumna of the school, who returned to engage with the students. The school representatives, including Tuan Haji Hafizin Sohaili, Senior Assistant (Student Affairs), teachers, and the school counsellor, were also present in the session.

The visit offered students an opportunity to hear from an alumna who has since returned to her former school as a university leader. Prof. Dr. Tan shared her journey and experiences, giving students a glimpse of how their education and aspirations can shape their future pathways.

Coordinated by the Corporate Communication Department (CCD), MMU Beamer Singgah Sekolah was introduced to bring the university directly to schools and create opportunities for students to engage with MMU beyond the campus. Throughout the initiative, MMU Beamer visits have connected with school students through conversations on university programmes, opportunities and student life, while encouraging them to explore their interests and consider the possibilities ahead.

The visit to SMK Tanjung Sepat rounded off MMU Beamer’s 2026 school visits, marking the completion of this year’s MMU Beamer Singgah Sekolah series.
