Engaging in Community Volunteer Programme at SKBB2

On 12 September 2026, MMU students and volunteers from the Student Lifestyle & Experience Department (STyLE) took part in the annual Gotong-Royong at Sekolah Kebangsaan Batu Berendam 2 (SKBB2), Melaka.

The programme brought MMU students together with the school community to carry out various activities to improve the school surroundings. Among the activities were painting benches, cottages and fences around the school’s surau, giving the areas a fresh and more welcoming look.

Alongside the work to improve the school surroundings, the programme gave students the chance to work together, share responsibilities and contribute their time to the local community. It was also an opportunity for them to gain first-hand experience through volunteering and working alongside members of the school community.
