
MMU through its Faculty of Management (FOM) hosted a benchmarking and academic visit from Kolej Profesional MARA (KPM) Seri Iskandar, providing students and academic staff with opportunities to explore digital business education, gain hands-on exposure to business analytics, and exchange best practices in teaching and learning. Held on 11 June 2026, the visit involved 34 students and five lecturers from the Diploma in Business Information Technology programme, reflecting a shared commitment to academic excellence and continuous learning.
During the visit, participants attended a briefing on FOM’s Bachelor of Digital Enterprise Management (BDEM) programme, where they gained insights into the programme structure, industry relevance, and career opportunities available to graduates. The delegates also participated in a hands-on workshop on Business Analytics using Power BI and Python, which introduced them to practical data analytics tools and their applications in solving business challenges. In addition, the students had the opportunity to observe classes and experience MMU’s teaching and learning environment firsthand.
The visit also served as a valuable platform for academic benchmarking, enabling staff from both institutions to exchange ideas on curriculum development, programme management, and student engagement. Led by Dr. Muhammad Afif Mohd Fathullah with the support of Prof. Dr. Chinnasamy Agamudai Nambi Malar, Dr. Diyana Abdul Mahad, Dr. Noor Shahaliza Othman, Ms. Rekha Thangatorai, Ms. Nur Intan Adhani Muhamad Nazri, and Ms. Nor Samsuhada Ahmad, the programme underscores FOM’s commitment to fostering meaningful academic collaborations and enhancing learning experiences that prepare students for the evolving digital economy.
