As digital banking continues to reshape the financial services sector, nearly 300 students gathered for a FinTech Forum titled “How KAF Digital Bank is Redefining the Banking Landscape in Malaysia” held in June 2026 at the FOM Lecture Theatre. The forum featured distinguished speakers from KAF Digital Bank, namely En. Suzaini Mukhtar, Chief Executive Officer; Pn. Roislalaili Sulaiman, Head of Finance; and En. Azmi Salleh, Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, who shared their insights on the rapid evolution of digital banking and the transformative role of fintech in Malaysia’s financial services industry.
Drawing from their extensive industry experience, the speakers highlighted how digital banks are leveraging technology to enhance customer experiences, improve accessibility, and promote greater financial inclusion. Students gained valuable insights into the opportunities and challenges faced by digital banks, particularly in areas such as risk management, regulatory compliance, and governance. The session also shed light on emerging industry trends and the skills required to thrive in the fast-growing fintech and digital banking sectors, providing students with a better understanding of the realities and future prospects of the industry.
The forum concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, where students interacted directly with the speakers and explored topics related to career opportunities, innovation, and the future of digital banking. Coordinated by Mdm. Hezlin Harris, Mdm.
