EDC Exposes MMU Students to AI-Powered Business Strategies

The Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) organised an Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) titled “Scaling Without Hiring: Building & Orchestrating Your Business Processes with AI” on 16 June 2026 at MMU Melaka. The session brought together students from the Melaka and Cyberjaya campuses to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can be applied to improve business operations and support business growth.

The programme was facilitated by Ts. Tajul Asni Ahamad, an MMU alumnus, entrepreneur, AI strategist, and Assistant Leader of the MMU Founders Club. Drawing from his industry experience, he shared practical insights on how entrepreneurs and startups can leverage AI to automate routine tasks, improve efficiency, and make better use of available resources.

Through interactive activities and hands-on exercises, participants learned to identify operational challenges, map business processes, and incorporate AI tools into their workflows. The session also introduced the idea of using AI to support functions traditionally carried out by teams, enabling businesses to enhance productivity while operating more efficiently.

The programme equips participants with relevant entrepreneurial skills and emerging digital competencies, preparing them to adapt to changing industry trends and build innovative ventures in an increasingly technology-driven business environment.
