The International Collaboration and Engagement (ICE) team hosted a delegation from Universiti Islam Selangor (UIS) for a benchmarking visit in April 2026 at the Cyberjaya campus. The visit focused on the exchange of ideas and best practices in strengthening internationalisation efforts across both institutions.

The UIS delegation, led by Dr. Rabiathul Adhabiyyah Binti Sayed Abudhahir, Director of the International Office, together with representatives from the Marketing Division, was welcomed by MMU’s International Collaboration and Engagement (ICE) team, headed by Dr. Sy. Nurleyana Wafa Binti Sy. Naguib Wafa, along with the SMART team.

Rather than a formal presentation-style meeting, the session took the form of an open sharing dialogue, where both sides exchanged experiences in managing international students, strengthening recruitment processes, and enhancing global engagement strategies. The discussion also highlighted operational challenges commonly faced by international offices and how different institutions approach them.

The engagement provided a useful platform for both MMU and UIS to compare practices, gain new perspectives, and explore practical improvements that can support more efficient and sustainable internationalisation efforts moving forward.
