On 28 April 2025, the Faculty of Cinematic Arts (FCA), in collaboration with KOMFIT and Panggong Punggok, proudly organised a special screening and sharing session titled “Panggong Punggok: Terbang Ke Cyber”. The event was held at the FCA Cinema, MMU Cyberjaya, and welcomed students from Akademi Seni Budaya dan Warisan (ASWARA), Taylor’s University, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), and FCA itself.

The evening featured the screening of the acclaimed Japanese comedy “Welcome Back, Mr. McDonald”, followed by an engaging sharing session with esteemed filmmaker Al-Jafree Md Yusop. The discussion was moderated by FCA alumni Amir Nurrahim, who brought thoughtful insights and facilitated a warm, reflective dialogue between the panelist and audience.

This event not only celebrated international cinema but also cultivated a vibrant atmosphere of learning, laughter, and storytelling. Students gained valuable perspectives on adaptation, screenwriting, and the collaborative nature of filmmaking. With open access and a welcoming environment, Panggong Punggok: Terbang Ke Cyber stood as a testament to FCA’s mission of cultivating inclusivity and unity within the cinematic arts.

Well done!
