MMU Students Volunteer for Putra Heights Relief Efforts

In a remarkable show of compassion and civic responsibility, more than 30 students from Multimedia University (MMU) participated in the Ops Mega Pembersihan cleanup mission in Putra Heights on 12 April 2025. The initiative followed the unfortunate gas pipe explosion incident that had significantly impacted the local community.

Our students joined hands with other dedicated volunteers to assist in the post-disaster cleanup efforts. Braving the scorching heat and challenging conditions, their unwavering commitment and resilience shone through as they worked tirelessly to help restore normalcy in the affected area.

The relief operation offered a rare and humble opportunity to contribute directly at the incident site — an area not accessible to the general public. For many of the students, it was a deeply meaningful experience that allowed them to stand in solidarity with the victims and ease their burdens during a difficult time.

This initiative reflects the strong spirit of volunteerism and empathy nurtured within the MMU community. We are proud of our students for stepping forward with courage and compassion, embodying the values of unity and service.
