FOL Students Emerge Champions in Sunway Debate Open (Novice)

Let us extend our heartiest congratulations to Christopher Lau and Pavit Coran, our students from the Faculty of Law (FOL) for winning the championship for the novice category in Sunway Debate Open 2022, recently. Christopher also clinched the Novices Finals Best Speaker Award at the same competition. 

Christopher and Pavit, who represented the MMU Voices Debate and Public Speaking Society, debated on various pressuring issues from politics to medical ethics across the three-day tournament. They went up against debaters from different countries such as the Philippines, Singapore, and Australia and various institutions from Malaysia.
