The Faculty of Business (FOB) hosted a virtual visit by Mr. Kenneth Wee Kee Ann, the industrial advisor for the Bachelor of Business (Hons.) International Business programme, recently. The visit was aimed to review the programme and better align its curriculum to meet the rising challenges of an increasingly volatile and turbulent business world.

The visit began with a welcoming note by Dr. Lye Chun Teck (Dean of FOB) and Dr. Tan Pei Kian (Head of Department, International Business), followed by an interview with staff and students, a review of the programme’s quality management system, and a talk entitled “Covid-19: A New Landscape of International Business”. In the talk, Mr. Kenneth highlighted the present conditions in the business world, the new business norms, and the risks and opportunities for growth in the near future. The visit was concluded on the second day, after the presentation of findings of the visit by Mr. Kenneth, and closing remarks by Dr. Ng Tuan Hock (Deputy Dean, Academic and International Relations) and Dr. Tan Pei Kian.

Mr. Kenneth Wee is the Managing Director / CEO of Total Agri Marketing Sdn. Bhd., TAM Global (Hainan) Co. Ltd., and BOCE Global ASEAN. Other positions held include the Director of Asia (Idaho Potato Commission), the Regional Market Representative (California Milk Advisory Board), and an Adjunct Professor at the Chinese Academy of Management Science, Beijing.
