A total of 17 students from the Faculty of Management (FOM) and Majlis Kanser Nasional (MAKNA) hosted a cancer awareness campaign and fundraising activities in Cyberjaya recently. The event was filled with many activities such as cancer awareness talk and cancer survivor session, MAKNA information booth, game booths and movie night.

Around 80 people attended the sharing session which featured Dr. Muhammad Faiz Talib, MAKNA resident doctor and two cancer survivors. The event aimed to create awareness amongst MMU staff and students on the cancer diseases, its early detection and treatment, and the need for a reliable and permanent cure. The campaign also raised a total of RM 1,250 and was presented to MAKNA to help more cancer patients.
