About Us

Centre for Sustainable Communications and IoT (CSCI) is a transformation of the Centre for Communication Systems and IC Design (CCSID). The centre is interested in the design of new signal processing algorithms for communication systems, performance analysis and implementation of algorithms. The fields of research include:

  • Adaptive Antennas
  • Channel Estimation, Modelling and Equalisation
  • Multi-user Systems
  • Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) Systems
  • Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA), Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) and Multi-carrier Systems
  • Space-time Processing and Decoding
  • Signal Detection and Synchronisation
  • Software Defined Radio
  • Speech, Image and Video Signal Processing
  • Transmitter and Receiver Techniques
  • Access Networks and Systems
