About Us

Centre for Remote Sensing and Surveillance Technologies (CRSST) is a transformation of the Centre of Applied Electromagnetics (CAEM). This research centre started since 1997 which initially named Remote Sensing Group. The primary aim of this research centre is to promote the research and development in the areas of advanced remote sensing and surveillance technologies.

To build the first Malaysian satellite-borne SAR sensor that produces high quality images for remote sensing will always be our vision. Therefore, our objective is to develop expertise in the field of remote sensing and surveillance technologies and also to produce high quality publications, IPs, and marketable products.
