MMU Co-Organizes Huawei Instructor Summit 2025 to Foster Innovation and Collaboration Among ICT Educators

It was a great honour for Multimedia University (MMU) to co-organize the Huawei Instructor Summit 2025 in collaboration with Huawei Technologies (Malaysia). Held on 24th and 25th July 2025 at the scenic PARKROYAL A’Famosa Melaka Resort, the two-day, one-night summit brought together ICT educators from across the country for a dynamic exchange of ideas, innovation, and collaboration. This event was fully sponsored by Huawei Technologies (Malaysia).

The event was also graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including Mr. Nik Hishamuddin from MDEC, Mr. Hafifi Hafiz from the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), Mdm Nor Hasimah from INTAN, and Mr. Zaharuddin from Huawei Technologies (Malaysia).

Held as part of MMU’s continued efforts to support digital talent development, the Huawei Instructor Summit 2025 served as a platform to:

🔹 Strengthen Bonds – Building a supportive and enduring network of ICT instructors across institutions.

🔹 Facilitate Collaboration – Enabling educators to share best practices, challenges, and success stories.

🔹 Showcase Innovation – Highlighting effective and creative teaching methodologies in ICT education.

The summit was co-chaired by Ms. Delea Tan from Huawei Technologies and Dr. Nicole Lee from MMU, with the organizing committee comprising esteemed academics from MMU’s Faculty of Computing & Informatics (FCI) in Cyberjaya and Faculty of Information Science and Technology (FIST) in Melaka.
