Research Webinar on Construction of Privacy
On 18 June 2021, a research webinar entitled Constructions of Privacy was delivered by Professor Clark Thomborson. He is a Professor of Computer Science department at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. His research focus is on secure systems, particularly for identity management and privacy protection; and algorithms and application for software watermarking and obfuscation, The webinar covered constructive definitions of privacy in the form of UML Class Diagrams. The webinar looked into the GDPR as a particular form of privacy which falls under the general heading of Confidentiality but silent on four other important forms of privacy such as Solitude, Intimacy, Anonymity, and Reserve.
