Outbound Mobility Programmes

MMU students are given the platform to participate in student mobility programmes that are offered by our partner universities. Duration varies according to the programmes that are offered by partner universities.

[Important Announcement]:

Dear MMU students and staff,

Please be informed that with effect from 1st Jan 2022, every Outbound Exchange (full-semester) student is subject to be charged the tuition fee as per his/her course structure if the transfer of credits is performed after the completion of the exchange program.

This policy has been approved by the MMU Management Committee (MC) on 15 September 2021, and the Academic Development Committee (ADC) on 24th Nov 2021.

  • Full Semester Outbound Student Exchange
    • To be eligible for participation of Full Semester outbound student exchange, students must:
      • Be enrolled at MMU as an active student.
      • Have completed at least 18 credit hours in MMU at the time of applying.
      • Not be in the final trimester at the time of studying abroad
      • Have good disciplinary record.
      • Satisfy the host university/institution’s entry and study requirements.
      • Meet the host country’s visa requirements.
      • Be a good representative of MMU.
      • Recommendation to be obtained from the Dean
      • Must secure consent from sponsorship bodies
      • Do not have any outstanding balance with MMU
      • CGPA of 2.0 and above (subject to the receiving university)

  • Short Term Outbound Programme
    • To be eligible for participation of Short Semester outbound student exchange, students must:
      • Be enrolled at MMU as an active student.
      • Have good disciplinary record.
      • Satisfy the host university/institution’s entry and study requirements.
      • Meet the host country’s visa requirements.
      • Be a good representative of MMU.
      • Recommendation to be obtained from the Dean
      • Must secure consent from sponsorship bodies
      • Did not have any outstanding balance with MMU
      • CGPA of 2.0 and above (subject to the receiving university)
  • Outbound Internship
    • To be eligible for participation of Outbound Internship Programme, students MUST:
      • Be enrolled at MMU as an active student.
      • Have good disciplinary record.
      • Meet the host country’s visa requirements.
      • Be a good representative of MMU.
      • Meet the requirements to register for internship
