FCM Students Taking Turns at Winning the First Ever sCooler Awards
Ten FCM students carried on MMU’s outstanding appearances in distinctive events as they took turns at receiving the sCooler Awards at the student creative show, the ‘sCoolers 2016 Portfolio Review’ held in MAP@Publika, Kuala Lumpur on 24 February 2017.
The inaugural creative competition organised by PopDigital saw close to 300 entries from all over Malaysia in the 24 categories contested. MMU students who bagged the coveted sCooler Awards are:

Another creative touch, ‘After work’ by Aida Mahirah Kamarul Bahrin, also took a commendable honour as it became a Finalist in the Best Film category. Strong participations, many of them were coming from Raffles College of Higher Education; The One Academy; Taylor’s University; UiTM Shah Alam.
The competition was judged by some of the renowned professionals in the creative industry with the likes of Alvin Teoh, Executive Creative Director of Naga DDB; Sa’ad Hussein, Chief Creative Ocer of TBWA Kuala Lumpur; as well as the senior designer and respected filmmaker, Hassan Muthalib, along with others. It celebrates game-changing ideas, and help students learn from experts in the industry in an effort to minimise the gap between the academia and the industry.
