An Entralling Flow of Innovation – Our Students Express Arts Through ‘Mediated Experience’
Media Arts Exhibition 2017: ‘Mediated Experience’, a showcase of media arts installations, enthralled general public including MMU students, staff, visiting partners and media members who came to Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) between 21 and 22 February recently.
The FCM students’ final year project showcase was an extraordinary exhibition where this time, 30 artworks of creative expression were made interactive through exploration, experimentation and integrated creative technology. Most of the art expressions used sensory devices, visual programming, projection mapping and even robotics interaction.
The FCM’s Media Arts Programme Coordinator, Badrolhisham Hashim said, “Each of the exhibited innovation here has a very good potential and commercial value for further research and product development.” Besides the 30 installations, the two-day exhibition was also composed of students’ multimedia presentations and some performing arts. Well done to the students!
