Electronics Majoring in Computer

Reg. No. : (R/523/6/0166) 06/19 (MQA/FA4866)

Over the past 15 years, since the inception of our computer engineering programme, our graduates have been sought by employers in the computer and digital industry such as IBM, Dell, Sony, HP, Altera and many others. Many graduates also work in companies that are not known as computer companies including Agilent, Astro, Infineon, Maxis, Motorola, National Instruments, Panasonic and TM because computer engineers are needed in every industry.

This four-year major focuses on both the hardware and software aspects of computers and digital systems. This includes networking, security, high-end parallel processors, architecture, and object-oriented programming.

Programme Educational Objectives

  • Graduates assume a technical or managerial leadership role in electronics engineering specialised in computer or in any field benefitting from their engineering knowledge.
  • Graduates embrace life-long learning through advanced study, training, or professional membership.
  • Graduates are committed to professional ethics, sustainability, and appreciation of social values in their chosen fields.
